The horizon was shrouded in a gray hazeโsomething from the smog of digital cities, or the ashes of burnt-out truths. In this world, people no longer looked to the stars to find their way; here, they looked at screens to forget that a path even existed.
We used to call this "progress." But in reality, it was the final line.
The world we knew had reached the end of its history not because of wars or famine, but because of the great Oblivion. The words "Love" and "Creator" had become empty sounds, dusty exhibits in the museum of human stupidity. People had exchanged the primordial Light for a convenient Darkness, and the oath sworn to the Creator before the beginning of time had been buried under a pile of falsehood and greed.
The Veil of Oblivion
The most terrifying thing was that this oblivion was not accidental. In the shadows of this world, behind the faรงades of shining skyscrapers and political slogans, Entities lurked. Their sole purpose was to block. Every time a new, "galactic" soul entered this world, they lowered the veil. Memory was erased. Purpose became a hazy dream, forgotten immediately upon awakening.
Humanity had become a cyclical mechanismโan endless cycle, devoid of the right to maturity. We had become "prisoners" who were unaware of the existence of the walls of our prison.
Hunting for Sparks
But the Creator does not abandon His children. Sometimes, those who remember break through the veil. Rare souls, whose ancestral experience burns in their blood with a quiet but steady flame. They come here as saviors, as messengers of Light.
But the city's silence is deceptive. These enlightened ones are being hunted. "Hunter-killers"โthe guardians of the systemโprowl the crowd, identifying those who can open people's eyes. The authorities fear not the rebellion of the flesh, but the rebellion of the Spirit. After all, a conscious person is the worst nightmare for those accustomed to ruling over the "dead."
A conscious soul will not become a slave. It will not take up arms to exterminate its own kind, it will not breed diseases for profit. This is precisely why true knowledge is forbidden today. It will not be found in university textbooksโthey only teach the rules of being kept in a cage.
The Stigma of Otherness
Those who see the world differently are no longer burned at the stake todayโthe methods have become more sophisticated. They are labeled, called "sick," slandered so much that society has learned to fear its own saviors. We look at a person with "worldly knowledge" and turn away, dismissing them as mad, not seeing that their "madness" is merely the purity of a child, which they managed to protect from the clutches of Darkness.
